No idea where to enjoy family fun on Children’s Day? Want to share live music with your kids? Then this June 1-2, you don’t want to miss the first Strawberry Seeds Music Festival, which will be held at the Anaya Gold Coast, Beidaihe, in Hebei Province.
Organized by Modern Sky Kids, Strawberry Seeds Music Festival kicks off Jun 1 for a weekend of family-friendly live rock and indie acts, art workshops, a kids’ play zone, and (hopefully) sunshine!
This year there will be two stages: the Strawberry Seeds Stage and the Future Stage. Two US acts headline the Strawberry Seeds Stage: Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets on the first day, and Lard Dog & The Band of Shy on the last day. On the Future Stage, you can enjoy performances by kids such as a pop dance show by SWAG KIDS, a music show by INFINITY, and more.
About Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets (US)
The band plays songs about familiar and iconic childhood experiences with indie flair. Tim Kubart is a singer, songwriter, children’s TV presenter, and scriptwriter, who picked up a Grammy Award for Best Children’s Album (Home, 2015) and hosts Sunny Side Up, the Emmy-nominated morning show for preschoolers on NBC Universal’s Sprout Channel. At the festival, he will lead The Space Cadet band (and a tap dancer) in a dance party for all ages.
About Lard Dog & The Band of Shy（US）
Lard Dog & The Band of Shy, winners of a Parents’ Choice Award, have attracted numerous families to become their enthusiastic fans with their infectious musical style, and have appeared at many famous music festivals. In 2017, the band landed the #1 chart-topping song on Sirius XM Kids Place Live “13 under 13 Countdown” with their single “I Like.” They often use props and multimedia video to interact with the audience.
