The upcoming holiday means a break from the busyness of work and school life everywhere in China. Hence, expect a lot of tourists using this eight-day vacation to visit historic sites in Beijing and elsewhere. There’s still a lot of activities to do during the holiday with the family, like Crossboundaries’ Impact We Make event next Monday (October 2).
Bring the whole family for a day of bilingual workshops on the ways we can do to save the environment. The day begins with two separate activities for adults and kids at 11am:
– The Go-Zero Waste: Reducing Daily Trash is a forum for adults and young adults about sustainable living by reducing daily trash.
– The Wildbound: A Year in the Life of a Penguin is a workshop where kids from 3 to 13 create their own penguin friend with the help of an expert polar explorer.
The other activities resume at 1.30pm:
– TSL: Impact is another forum to help adults teach kids to have an impact on the world through enterprise, creativity, ecology, and education.
– Pursuit Education: Arts and Crafts Workshop – Trash in the Ocean is another workshop wherein kids will make a sculptural environment for the penguins using trash. In this activity, they will learn how trash influences sea and ocean creatures.
