Throughout the academic year, 3e International School in Lido hosts regular Tea Talk events so that parents can explore a variety of topics that affect students and parents, both local and expat. Their next Tea Talk event on Oct 26 (9-10: 30 am), should be especially pertinent for recent expats with children who are just starting their journey of becoming bilingual or biliterate.
There are no doubt many paths to take to achieve this goal, but this talk will lay it all out, with the help of Gary Bradshaw, 3e’s Head of School. They will also explain how through guided support from parents and school, and productive activities that promote language acquisition, this seemingly daunting task of your children acquiring a new language is entirely doable with the right tools and outlook.
As well as being informative, these recurring talks are also an excellent opportunity to connect with other parents who are in the same boat as you, allowing you to commune and further engage in these and other areas of interest. For more info and registration, visit 3e’s website here.
