The SLab Kids’ Winter Camp: Editing in iMovie, until Jan 4
The SLab offers another exciting camp this winter, this time, they’ll teach kids how to use the iMovie app. Not only do students learn the foundational tools of using iMovie in this camp, but they will also be learning editing techniques to best create a coherent film. Editing is not just about knowing how to use software, but having a good grasp of effective storytelling using visual and audio cues. Students are expected to bring in a laptop equipped with iMovie & at least 5 GB of available space on their hard-drive. Ages 12+. RMB 2,888, including lunch. Notes For Charity: A Concert for Disabled Orphans in Beijing, Jan 19
Culturally and musically diverse artists, bands, and performers in Beijing are teaming up for Notes For Charity, a fundraiser concert for the benefit of disabled orphans in the city.
