The most passionate and dramatic of Spanish artforms, flamenco dance, might not seem an obvious choice for kids, but hey, why should adults have all the fun? Every week, the esteemed dance professor Qiao Liu (known as “Moriato de Pekin” in the Spanish community) hosts flamenco classes just for kids at Move Studio in Nali Patio. Here’s one for the parents: nobody likes to think about what happens when family bonds break down, and when a once-loving couple decides to divorce, but these things do happen, and if you are married in China, it pays to understand how your legal family rights operate under Chinese law. In this webinar, Sophie Mao, a lawyer with more than 10 years of experience, will discuss the Chinese civil code, touching on topics such as family assets vs personal assets, and what you can expect if you do go through a divorce.

We couldn’t be more excited that this weekend has come: on Saturday, the 20th annual Jingkids International School Expo is hitting the Jiarui Culture Center in Wangjing. Outdoor Rock Climbing for All Levels
Ready to rock out with your family? This Sunday, the team at Infinite Ascension Climbing Academy is hosting an all-day climbing event out in the beautiful Sidu Fangshan natural rock climbing area, which is open to adults of all levels and kids as young as 5. The day price includes tickets, climbing equipment, coaching, insurance, and food, and each participant will be able to test multiple climbing routes, under the supervision of professional coaches.

Aquatic Exercise for Expecting Mothers
Aquatic exercise and therapy can be a fantastic tool to reduce lower back pain among pregnant women, and generally reduce the risk of pregnancy complications, while at the same time helping moms-to-be feel fit and healthy. This Monday morning, Beijing United Aqua Therapist Catarina Gutierrez will be leading a 45-minute class so you can see the results for yourself.
