Call the sitter or bring the kids to Spicy Fest! You’ll come to the 2021 Hot & Spicy Fest for the fire in your mouth – but you just may end up staying for the straight fire on the stage!
We’ve got a heck of a lineup prepared for both days of this year’s Latin American-themed fest (remember – the fest will be held this Saturday and Sunday, May 15 and 16 from 11am-8pm – there is no fest on Friday). Check out the performers below who will be sure to have you dancing like it’s the Salsa, Tango, Cha-Cha, Mambo, Samba, etcétera.
Special thanks to JSS, the lovely food and grocery delivery app who are sponsoring this year’s fest.

La Clave
You may have seen these Cuban and Ecuadorian musicians rocking the stage around the capital over the past three years – now, La Clave (“the key” in English) is bringing their healthy mix of salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, and Brazilian tunes to Hot & Spicy Fest.
Sexy Mamacitas
This duo is bringing Cuban dance to the stage! You won’t want to miss out.
Chili Pepper Eating Contest
The highlight of the fest! Gather round to watch tears pour down faces as contestants try to swallow progressively hotter peppers (and the audience gets to try them too!) Think you’ve got what it takes? Learn how to participate here.
Haus of Lily
These Queens know what the people want – and what the people want is amazing drag!
Latin Rockers
Already a Beijinger festival fave, we couldn’t have a Latin-themed fest without the Latin Rockers! Their upbeat bilingual stylings bring the party every time, and the crowd always finds themselves jumping along.
Perfect Mix
True to their name, singer El Samu and keyboardist Publio will arrive in the evening to mix things up! Jazz, pop, funk, and Latin – you never know what they’re going to play next, but you can be sure it will be a good time.
SAZON Burning Salsa
If you found yourself inspired by the moves of the Sexy Mamacitas, then here’s your chance to shine – Sazon will be bringing up members of the crowd for a Salsa dance-off!
DJ Arquitect
If you’ve ever been to a Beijinger festival, you know that DJ Arquitect knows how to finish off the party! Head up on stage and dance your heart out to the tunes of the most popular Latin DJ in town.
