Family Forbidden City Scavenger Hunt
Get your friends and family together and take them on an adventure in the Forbidden City to enjoy a fun and educational afternoon. Search for clues, solve riddles and discover hidden secrets on Sat, Feb 11 in a family-friendly scavenger hunt organized by Our Beijing. The activity is best suited for kids 6-14, so if you and your kiddo want to spend some quality time together, this is a great way to do so. Scan the QR code on the poster to register. Tickets start from RMB 310/adult and go up to RMB 500/two adults and two children. Please note that entrance tickets to the Forbidden City are not included in the price.

Valentine’s Day Floral Class
Valentine’s Day is not only for and about couples—it’s about you and your favorite people and celebrating the bond you share. Studio Flowers will be hosting a workshop where you’ll get to create a floral arrangement for your spouse, partner, child, friend or yourself AND even have your Valentine’s Day picture taken by a professional photographer. S.T.E.A.M Troopers
Here’s a super fun activity for the kiddos to join. S.T.E.A.M stands for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, and the program is designed to develop creativity and problem-solving skills. Teacher Maria is an artist-designer who takes the kids on a journey of self-exploration and discovery through fun-filled activities. Each week, the kids will complete a hands-on project that results in a creative combined activity at the end of the month. LMMP Training: An Opening on Montessori Education for Caregivers of Young Children
If you are a Montessori parent and would like to familiarize your ayi or your child’s grandparents with the Montessori principles and make everyone’s life just a tad easier, you can sign them up for this course from La Maison Montessori de Pékin (LMMP). It consists of three sessions, which will take place at LMMP every Wednesday from 9.15am to 10.15am. The sessions in February are reserved exclusively for ayis, while the March sessions are designed for grandparents. Total price for the three sessions is RMB 399/LMMP caregiver and RMB 599/non-LMMP caregiver.

Daystar Academy’s Open House
Daystar will host an open house in February where you’ll get to learn about their curriculum and ask questions about their teaching methods, transportation, after-school activities and school life. Current students will be sharing their own stories and experiences to help you make the right decision about your kid’s future education.
