A few weeks ago, towards the end of February, Michaela Leppan was out and about when she noticed a sweet little pup in an alleyway near her home. She was shaking in the cold but skittish and scared to be approached, so Leppan, as an avid pet lover and dog mom, decided to leave a plate of food out. Sure enough, the puppy ate hungrily and Leppan called a friend at Lost Puppies to come and help her catch the little stray.
They got her cleaned up, taken to the vet for a check-up, and then dubbed the little bundle of fur Ally for the place she was found.
Ally got on well with her new foster family. She loved Leppan’s other pets and was slowly learning to love people too, but when Leppan had a family emergency that would send her back to South Africa she couldn’t continue to take care of Ally.
Ally is currently safe with a new foster mom, but it is time to find this sweet girl her forever home.
She is 6 months old, full of love and energy, and the only thing she loves more than playing fetch are belly rubs. She is very good with other dogs, doesn’t bark often, and is highly affectionate. She loves long walks and would make an inspiring jogging partner! Her new foster mom is in the process of house-training her and socializing her with children, so she will be an excellent family pet.
If you have room in your home and your heart for this sweet little girl, she will happily repay you with loyalty and a lifetime of puppy kisses! Please scan the QR code in the poster for more information and to inquire about adoption. You can also watch this video to see this Ally in action!
