Got a teenage foodie at home? Put their dining experience to work by becoming a panelist in the upcoming Juicy Burger Cup!
It’s once again time for the Beijinger’s Juicy Burger Cup, where the good citizens of this fine city choose the best burgers on offer. But this year, our 14th annual contest, we’re shaking it up a bit, and that’s where we need your teen.
We are on the hunt for a panel of burger experts to rank the city’s top 16 burgers.
This year, instead of round after round of head-to-head battles, readers will cast their votes in a single round to determine who makes the top 16.
The list of 16 will be handed over to our panel of experts, who will then choose the champion.
We’re collecting burger credentials now. All you need to do is fill out this survey here and we will consider your teen for the panel. Selected panelists will, when the time comes, be asked to rank the top 16. And thus, the ultimate burger list will be created.

Q: Do I have to try all 16 burgers before ranking them?
A: No, you only rank the burgers you have already tried. If you haven’t tried a burger, simply do not rank it.
Q: What if I’m selected as a nominator but can’t attend the Burger Fest?
A: Attendance is not mandatory. You can still rank the burgers even if you don’t attend – though the Burger Fest is a great chance to try a wide array of the city’s best.
Q: How will the final nominators be chosen?
A: The final nominators will be selected randomly from the pre-qualified list of individuals.
Q: When will the nominators be notified?
A: The nominators will be notified of their sacred duty right after Burger Fest concludes on Jun 10.
Q. Is there a prize for the nominators?
A: Nothing except free entry to Burger Fest – and the satisfaction of contributing to the collective wisdom of Beijing burger lore.
Q: Will the rankings be made public?
A: Yes, the collective rankings of the panel will be published – along with bios of all the panelists – in a final writeup of Beijing’s Best Burgers in June.
