Plastered T-Shirts founder and creative director Dominic Johnston-Hill (center) is but one of the many artists that will be on hand to answer student questions tomorrow night
Perspective artists, alert!
If you are an avid artist between Grades 6-11 and seek a future career in the arts industry, a rare opportunity takes place tomorrow evening just for you.
This Thursday, BCIS is gathering a multitude of arts professionals from a diverse range of fields to answer questions from students considering a career in the arts.
Students from all of Beijing’s international schools are encouraged to attend. This is a great opportunity for students to make the link between studying the arts in school and a career in the arts industry.
If your child is considering a career in the arts industry, why not stop on by.
Director, producer, and author Tony Stimac who has been active in off-broadway productions in the US since the 1960s, will be one of the evening’s keynote speakers, as will Dominic Johnson-Hill, the founder and creative director of Beijing’s own Plastered T-Shirts.
Following these brief speakers, there will be meeting sessions where young Future Arts Workers can select which guest speaker they would like to interact with.
This is a great opportunity to strengthen your child’s insight in the arts industry, and can help them to plan earlier for their future.
RSVP by email to Richard.Todd@BCIS.CN soon as spaces are limited.
