As the parent of a 4-year-old girl, I know first-hand the draw of both Disney princesses and ice skating. Combine the two and its virtually impossible not to have your little one completely sucked in.
With that in mind, our household is preparing for next week’s Beijing performances of Disney on Ice, which combines the grace and skill of ice skating with the characters our children can’t seem to get enough of.
The world touring company of Disney on Ice starts with Friday night show on Nov 4 and continues both Saturday and Sunday with three performances at 10:30am, 3:30pm and 7:30pm.
The combination of Disney and ice skating is impossible for little girls to resist
The show — themed Let’s Celebrate — features characters from just about every Disney film you can think of, from classics like Snow White, Pinocchio and Cinderella to the more modern Toy Story, Mulan and The Princess and the Frog.
We here at beijingkids love to share the love with our readership, and since the promoters of this show have given us some free tickets, we’d like to give them to one lucky reader.
We’ve got a block of 6 tickets for you and your family (and perhaps one or two of your child’s friends … after all, what’s a show without your friends along?) for the Friday night (730pm) show on Nov 4.
All you need do is post a comment to this thread, telling us an antecdote about your child’s favorite Disney character or film: which of the pantheon does he/she love the most, and why?
The most creative, touching and/or humorous response by Monday, Oct 31 will be awarded the six tickets (which, I might add as a sweetener, have a total face value of more than RMB 2000!)
Go for it!
