Coming back from CNY holiday, my girls and I took a walk around Pinnacle Plaza to see what was new. Things we noticed were mostly in area restaurants…we must have been hungry! Here’s what we saw:
*Coming soon is a new Mexican grill called Avocado Tree! It is located right next to Johnson’s Computers, but doesn’t appear to be open yet (and there was no closed-for-CNY sign on the door like at many other establishments). It’s not a large place, but I’m personally hoping that it’s good, as Mexican options are much needed around here. It is pretty close to Mexican Kitchen, but then again, everything is close to one another in this area.
*Miss Me is a new café of some sort located next to Domino’s Pizza. I had noticed a store sign there a few weeks ago, but had no idea what it was going to be. Looking inside, there are tables and chairs, and a cold-case counter, so it’s going to be food of some sort. If anyone knows, please share the information with us all.
*Paddy O’Shea’s is gone already. No surprise there, in my opinion. No idea, either, how long it’s been gone. Next…
*We’ve been to The Swan with Two Necks twice now, and must say that it’s a decent option for pub food. Its core menu is that of an English pub, with Yorkshire pudding, Cottage Pie or bangers and mash, but has plenty of options from sandwiches to salads to main courses. There’s also a kids menu, sports TV screens, and a pool table and foosball table upstairs. It’s a little on the smoky side, though, depending on the patrons there. Still, nice pub option.
*Don’t forget that South German Bakery is on the back row of Pinnacle now. While not a restaurant, it sure has tasty baked goods there, as does Mrs. Fields next door!
*I haven’t been to Black Milk yet, but am concerned about it getting lost with their alley location. Has anyone been there to try it out yet?
And these are just the Pinnacle Plaza options! There are always new restaurants and eateries to try in Euro Plaza and surrounding areas, so if you haven’t been out and about much during this cold weather, go and see what’s new!
