Dulwich College Beijing started its school year with two new members of the administration. Simon Herbert, new head of senior school, and Sarah Humphreys, new head of early years, have both joined the Dulwich family.
Herbert was formerly head of modern languages, and later senior housemaster, at Fettes College in Edinburgh, UK. While at Fettes College he introduced Mandarin and IB programs. Herbert has a bachelor of arts from the University of Nottingham in French and Latin, and arrived in Beijing with his wife and three sons.
New head of early years Sarah Humphreys came to Beijing from primary school Jeavons Wood in Cambridge, UK, where she was the founding head teacher. Humphreys has a bachelor of arts with honors in linguistics from the University of Hull and a post graduate certificate in education from the University of East Anglia. Prior to coming to Beijing, Humphreys served as head of early years at the British International School in Jakarta.
