Tuesday, September 25, Yew Chung International School of Beijing (YCIS) is holding a Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) fair, where secondary school students at YCIS can meet with national and global organizations to begin their community service and volunteer work. YCIS is still welcoming NGOs and charity organizations to take part in the upcoming CAS Fair.
The fair will be an excellent opportunity not only for NGOs and charity organizations to help students understand their work and recruit volunteers, but also for YCIS students and their parents to get involved in volunteering and community service. The CAS requirement is an integral part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, and requires students to volunteer for at least three hours a week throughout the two-year program.
Any NGOs or organizations interested in taking part in the YCIS CAS Fair, please contact YCIS IB Coordinator Chris Warren at chrisw@bj.ycef.com or call 8585 1839.
