Why rush something as wonderful as food? Join in the Slow Food Saturday Charity event run by the School house this weekend on September 22 for some foodie fun.
The schedule will feature a chestnut harvest, orchard walk, cooking demos, trout fishing, and even a honey bee cultivation demonstration. Throughout the day participants will be immersed in rich culture and fresh food. All proceeds made by The Schoolhouse will go to the Slow Food Beijing Convivium.
Shuttle bus tickets and bicycles are both available for rent so you can fully explore the villages of Mutianyu, Tianxianyu, Beigou and Xinying on the day of event, but to reserve your bike ahead of schedule here. Prices for the event range from RMB 130-RMB 240.
