Before students at 3e International School bid goodbye to school and hello to holiday break, they took to the stage to wow their parents with end-of-the-year performances. The performance on Thursday, December 20, started with pre-schoolers bedecked in bell bracelets dancing to a lively tune.
The next class marched in a parade of instruments, then quickly segued into their own dance. The kindergarten class was the liveliest bunch, dancing and singing along to a Chinese song with unsurpassed verve. The older students demonstrated their skills on recorders, and then broke into a song in Chinese sung to the tune of “Edelweiss.”
The afternoon wrapped up with grade 2’s marvelous adaptation of Snow White, which featured the evil queen, three guardsmen, Snow White herself, and seven dwarves donning red foam noses. The students adapted and wrote the script themselves, and performed in Chinese from memory.
After the day’s performances were through, parents joined their children in their classrooms to partake in sticky fun with gingerbread houses and sweets.
