Struggle no more! The hotly-anticipated 2013-2014 beijingkids School Choice Guide is due out in early February. To help parents make an even more informed choice, we’re hosting the 2013 Spring School Choice Fair at Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center’s Jade Ballroom on Sunday, March 3 from 10am to 4pm – the second annual edition of this kind.
The 2013-2014 beijingkids School Choice Guide features a whopping 62 local and international schools from Beijing – that’s 27 percent more schools than the 2012-2013 Guide! Each school has a one-page listing with detailed information on tuition fees, after school activities, school facilities, teacher-to-student ratio, and much more. The guide also includes features on bilingual options in Beijing, education systems, and expat families who have decided to send their kids to local Chinese schools.

For the first time ever, we’ll be co-hosting the Spring School Choice Fair with our Chinese-language sister magazine, jingkids. jingkids will be publishing a Chinese edition of the School Choice Guide (《菁kids》2013-2014 年度择校指南), with international education options suited to Chinese families.
Families who attend the Spring School Choice Fair will have a chance to mingle with representatives from both local and international schools, as well as hear free lectures. Dulwich College Beijing will present two talks: How to Support Children with their Learning (Ages 3-7) from 10.30 to 11.10am with Head of Early Years Sarah Humphreys and Preparing Students for IBDP and University from 11.20am to noon with Head of Senior School Simon Herbert and University Counselor Jessica Lawrence.
Think of it as a pop-up version of the School Choice Guide; this is your chance to ask all the questions you want in one place, at one time.
