There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s moggy, Zoe, is from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Name: Hello, I’m Zoe.
Background: I was re-homed only two months ago from a large expat family of six. I lived with them for almost three years after they found me on a Shunyi roadside as a stray kitten. My first family moved away so my current foster family took me in as they love cats. My foster family is very kind to me but they have a toddler and a new baby coming soon. I hope to find a new loving forever home in Beijing.
Personality: I am loving and playful and adore company.
Ideal home: I am fine with older children (e.g., 12 years and older) or a couple or individual without kids.
Breed: I am a beautiful short-haired tortoise shell cat.
Sex & Age: I am a young 3-year old spayed female cat.
Medical notes: I have already been fully vaccinated and dewormed at The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS).
Post-adoption care: ICVS has enrolled me into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide my new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on my health examinations and vaccinations during my first year with my new adoption family!
Official Vaccination Certificate: I have the official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificate (e.g., vaccination red book) issued by ICVS that will be given to my new adoption family. I need this official vaccination red book to prove I have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated. I must have this official vaccination red book in order to move to another city or to leave China with my family.
