The beijingkids Santa On Ice is back with a two-day event taking place at the Le Cool Ice Rink in the China World Mall. Kicking off the winter holidays, these days will feature skating, presents for kids, Santa hats, family portraits, photos with Santa at the large tree near the Tiffany & Co. store. The afternoon sessions from 1.30-4pm on Saturday and Sunday December 13-14 promise to be exhilarating and hopefully exhausting. There will be goodies and treats on hand for the kids to munch on.
This year, we have added a mini-fair that will be held going to be holding a mini-fair from 10am-4pm so stop by and get some hot drinks after braving the winter breeze outside. This year a ticket is going for RMB 100 per child for beijingkids club members and RMB 150 per child for non-members. The tickets include 90 minutes of skating, which include the skate rentals and two non-skating parents. If parents wish to join their children on the ice, then they would have to rent the skates at RMB 50 each.
The Santa on Ice is suitable for kids age 5-12 years but we do welcome children of all ages. There are some points we thought we should mention:
- Skating instruction, gloves and helmets are not provided in this event.
- The responsibility for each child’s safety will be up to the parents.
- Each child will be given one present from Santa
- During the event, the photo session with Santa will be held outside at the China Wall Mall (near the Tiffany & Co. store)
