If you like dancing but can’t bring yourself to crank up the Baby Mozart, we’ve got an event for you. On February 7, beijingkids and JingKids are hosting Baobei Disco, an event inspired by the US-based Baby Loves Disco. The idea is to allow parents and kids to dance and have fun together in a safe and age-appropriate environment.
Suitable for ages 0-6, the event will feature mostly 80s pop music spun by our two DJs: dad-of-two Jerry Chan (aka DJ Booty Clap) and the Beijinger’s Nightlife Editor Kipp Whitaker.
There will also be games and toys like toy blocks and hula hooping. Kids are encouraged to show up in costume; all dressed-up children will receive surprise gifts. There will be props like cloaks and angel wings on-site as backup. Baobei Disco will also have free finger foods and drinks, family portraits, face painting, and a kids’ play area. This event is made possible by venue sponsor: Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel and family portraits sponsor: Elephant Kids
