New Sew Gorgeous Products
The Sew Gorgeous volunteer team has been working hard on bringing a new range of products and children’s clothing ready for summer. Visit their stall at The British School of Beijing (BSB) Shunyi Summer Fayre and see their new picnic rugs made from wool fabric with waterproof backing RMB 245, and children’s tops, tunics, skirts and hats, all in fabulous summer colors. Prices start from RMB 85. The BSB Summer Fayre takes place on Sunday, May 31 from 12-4pm. With many food vendors, an array of bouncy castles, games and activities, there’s fun to be had for all the family.
Whilst it might seem a little early to be talking about Christmas, you can still order their popular Love & Hope Christmas Wreaths. If you missed out on buying one at the Christmas bazaars, or would like to take some back home as gifts for friends and family during the summer break, now’s your chance. All proceeds from the sale of the wreaths go directly to the Love & Hope Migrant School. Following on from the success of last year’s sales, they are making the wreaths as an income source that will go towards keeping the school running, paying rent, making sure there is enough food, and maintaining the facilities. The wreaths are made on site at the school and now come in three color designs – red, green or grey. To order, email sewgorgeous@yahoo.com.
