There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s kittens, Tom and Jerry, are from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Introduction: Hi everyone. Our names are Tom and Jerry!
Background: We are two little rescued kittens being cared for by our very kind foster mom, Xuhui. We have been nursed back to health and are ready for adoption.
Personality: We are a joyous pair and are playful, fun and active kittens. We are exploring our new world, having lots of fun and curious about everything.
Ideal home: We are friendly, socialized kittens and hope to find a loving family that will give us a forever home. We wish to stay together and families that can adopt us both will be given priority. Two kittens are always more fun than one and we can keep each other company when our owners are away.
Breed: We are beautiful yellow and white, long-haired kittens.
Sex and age: We are both 3-month old, male kittens.
Medical notes: We are now healthy and will begin our kitten vaccinations this month.
Post-adoption care: We are so happy because The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled us into their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide our new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on our health examinations, vaccinations and neuter surgeries during our first year of life with our new family.
Official Vaccination Certificate: With our rabies vaccinations, ICVS will issue our new family with official Beijing Animal Health and Immunity Certificates (e.g. Vaccination red book) at no charge! We need our official vaccination red book to prove we have been legally and properly rabies vaccinated. We must have the official vaccination red books in order to move to another city or to leave China with our new family.
ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs:
Please support and donate to the ICVS Non-Profit Humane Animal Welfare Programs. Your donations support ICVS in helping the many pets like Bubi and the many stray/rescued/abandoned and shelter animals in our community. The pets receive medical care, treatments, good nutrition and socialization with love and compassion that allows them to become healthy adoptable pets.
