There are hundreds of animals hoping to find loving homes in Beijing. If you are considering adopting a pet, Doggy/Moggy of the Week will feature animals from volunteer shelters, animal rescue groups, foster care providers, and pet owners needing to rehome animals. This week’s rabbit,Lowly is from ICVS’ Adoptable Pets.
Introduction: Hi everyone, my name is Lowly.
Background: My mom took me in from the street and gave me a very nice home! She loves me but travels a lot and feels it would be better for me to be with a family that is home most of the time. I hope to find a new home ASAP, preferably with a family that is experienced with rabbits.
Personality: I’m very sweet, playful and healthy. I am gentle and never bite. I hope to find a loving family and I will bring you endless hours of love and companionship.
Ideal home: An individual, a couple or a family with older children (e.g., 8 years and older) is desired.
Breed: I’m a domestic short hair rabbit. My fur is a beautiful light brown.
Sex and age: I’m a female rabbit around 4 months old. I am ready for my spay surgery.
Medical notes: I’m very healthy and have had regular check ups with my vets at ICVS, who are rabbit care experts.
Post-adoption care: The International Center for Veterinary Services (ICVS) has enrolled me in their Rescued/Stray/Rehomed Pet Adoption Benefits Program. ICVS will provide my new family with significant discounts (up to 50%) on my health examinations and spay surgery during the first year of life with my new family.
Pet Import/Export Counseling: ICVS will provide my family with unlimited relocation counseling and accurate information so I can go with them when it is time to move to another city or to relocate to another country.
