On Sunday November 15, a Russian Charity Bazaar will be held from 11am-6pm at Dacha on Yaobao Lu. Goods on sale will include books, hand made cosmetics, raw sweets, baked goods, Indian jewelry, Indian clothing, and more. A range of classes, workshops, and activities will take place during the bazaar. Funds raised will go toward the treatment of the two little boys pictured above: 3-year-old Russian twins with cerebral palsy (CP).
Previous visitors to Dacha is will be aware of it’s epic children’s play area, overflowing with dolls, stuffed animals, bikes and ride-on cars. The play area will be supervised all day, so that parents can enjoy the workshops on offer.
- 2pm: Mitten-making workshop, including all materials (in Russian and English). RMB 150
- 3pm: Vedic sweets and healthy deserts (in English) RMB 100
As well as the children’s play area, the following kids’ activities will take place:
- 1pm: Art workshop (in Russian, English, and Chinese) RMB 100
- 3pm: Ceramic art class (in Russian and English) RMB 150
