The weather gods continue to spoil us with blue skies and blooms everywhere. So, on a perfectly bright and sunny spring afternoon, loads of families headed to the Beijing Riviera Clubhouse, to partake and enjoy the Baby and Kids Fair held at the Riviera Country Club on Saturday, March 26.
The kids were totally engaged with a myriad of children’s activities to choose from. The club house was filled to capacity. A lot of local vendors were on hand to promote their businesses catering to adults and children alike. Face Slap painted faces, the clubhouse popped popcorn and swirled gobs of bright cotton candy. Black Magicians hid and revealed rabbits in a festive Pirate Magic Show. Dave’s Studio snapped adorable and glam portraits. Challet baby products offered their delivery services and Tang’ Roulou displayed their clothing line for children. Fresh Prints offered on the spot printing for kids to try. There was something for everyone!
Children entertained everyone present with absolutely adorable performances. They seemed to embody the spirit of the changing season, bursting with energy and excitement. The biggest attraction for all the little ones in attendance was undoubtedly the huge sixty-four square-meter Bouncy Castle. Delightful shrieks and contagious giggles from the castle resonated in the atrium of the Clubhouse. The event ran from 11am to 4pm, and the kids did not want to get off the bouncy castle at the end!
It was a huge success, and there was general talk of maybe having something like this as a regular feature once every month or two, with the option of moving it outside as the weather gets better. All in all, a fun and fabulous family affair!
