Usually, we travel but not this summer because of my work. Also, Alex trains two hours a day with his swim team.

We like going to the movies. We also go see the kids’ grandparents for family get-togethers.

Solana is a fun place for my family to hang out. I like Zara. But I am a working mom so I don’t have much time to shop!

Hannah takes piano lessons at school so she practices at home over the summer. She will go through study material from the previous year but I think summer should be her time to play.

We go to the beaches at Beidaihe and Nandaihe.
Where do you buy kids’ clothing?
I buy his clothes from Decathlon. I get my casual clothes there, too.

I like modern clothing with a Chinese twist, like the famous fashion label Shanghai Tang.
How does your child spend summer?
When there is no school, he learns new sports, like how to swim or how to ride a bike. He is learning taekwondo now. I want him to have time to play.

We usually go to a park. There are so many parks that we haven’t been to all of them, and we have lived here for three years. We also like to go to the countryside, like Longqing Gorge and Silver Pagoda Forest.
