We like to go sledding, and my older daughter loves skiing.
What do you miss about Germany?
The beautiful mountains and trees.

I come to Solana to buy toys for the girls.

I used to work in finance, but I haven’t worked in a while.
Where do you like to go in winter?
We go to Hua Jie Cheng, the fake snowfields just outside Beijing, to ski.
How do you keep warm during winter?
We like to eat Sichuan food – anything hot!
Favorite place to go shopping?
Nowhere in particular, but I like Solana.
Favorite brands?
I like Zara and H&M because they’re stylish and not too expensive.
Where do you buy kids clothes?
Normally Adidas or Nike because their clothes are comfortable.
Where do you take your son to play?
We go to Beidai Qinghua and on holidays we go to Hunan.

Taiwan, but I’ve lived in Beijing for over 10 years.
How old is your daughter?
Juby is 4.
Best winter meal?
Korean barbeque. It gets so cold during winter and barbeque is a good way to stay warm.
Which brands do you like?
I like brands like Azona and Esprit because they’re fashionable.
Where do you go shopping for kids’ clothes?
Nike or Adidas, but Juby loves Disney clothes and anything pink.
What will you miss about summer?
I won’t miss anything! Summer is too hot for me.
Favorite place to take your daughter?
Beihai Park or the Olympic Green – there’s lots of space for her to play.

Taiwan.
How old are your children?
Marinda is 9 and Chad is 5.
What will you miss about summer?
I spend my summer in Taiwan, so I won’t miss anything about Beijing’s summer!
Where do you take your kids to play?
We all go to Chaoyang Park because it’s close. They play there with their friends.
Best way to keep warm in winter?
Definitely hot pot.
Favorite winter holiday?
I like to go to Japan. I really like their hot springs.

I like all different brands – nothing in particular.
