Children have fun while learning in an interactive bilingual environment. Little ones get a chance to discover both inside and outside the classroom. With half-day and full-day options available, children ages 2 to 8 will spend four weeks exploring English and Mandarin through hands-on experiential learning and investigation.

Ivy Bilingual School Summer Camp
During this two-week camp, children create a Planet Pandora. Kids will design plants, animals and other creatures to live on the imaginary planet. On the last day, parents are invited to an Alien Exhibition, which will showcase the children’s artwork. Camp will be conducted in Chinese.

Beijing Playhouse Summer Kids Theatre Camp
On Saturday, May 22, kids ages 6 to 13 can audition for a role in Gulliver’s Travels. Some English proficiency is necessary, but all actors, singers, dancers, acrobats and musicians are welcome. No need to be nervous, as everyone who auditions will get a part. For the older set, theater internships for students ages 14 to 22 are available. This two-week course ends with a family performance on July 3. Spots are limited to the first 30 students.

ClubFootball Summer Programs
The World Cup arrives in South Africa this summer and it’s time to get into the celebrations. Kids can hone their soccer skills at ClubFootball camps that run from June to mid-August. Options include three-day or weeklong programs, with each day focusing on a different theme.

AEA/US Embassy Summer Camp at BCIS

Mikids Camp has been running for seven years, and this year they’re adding a Toddlers’ Camp and a Chinese Camp to their summer program.
