This August, Singapore will be playing host to the first Youth Olympic Games. Athletes aged between 14 and 18 will compete in 26 sports.
To raise awareness of Olympic values and the Youth Olympic Games, an online virtual world (Singapore 2010 Odyssey) has been created where children can play games, interact with characters and learn some good old-fashioned sports-person-like values. They’ll also have an online inter-school competition to test the speed of your mouse-clicks against international rivals. The virtual world is free to download.
