Michelle Hrabar hails from Memphis in the US, but this globe-trotting mom has seen her fair share of the world, with extended stays in Bruni and Perth, Australia – her husband’s hometown. Michelle has four children, two adult sons in the US and Australia, respectively, and two daughters (ages 8 and 3) here in Beijing. Though she calls herself a stay-at-home mom, Michelle spends most of her time volunteering at the charity Roundabout,organizing clothing drives through her church, and working as the treasurer for the Beijing branch of Girl Scouts. It was time for this bubbly, outgoing mom to put up her feet and enjoyed an afternoon of relaxation and pampering. Hair stylist Larry and make-up artist Rabbit from Toni and Guy in the Sanlitun Village were just the people to make that happen.
Get The Look:
1 Michelle’s thick hair needed taming. Larry kept the length but thinned out her layers to make them more manageable. He moved Michelle’s unflattering side-part further towards her crown, allowing her hair to fall forward in soft layers to frame her face.
2 Michelle’s naturally fair hair didn’t need too many color adjustments. A mix of thick and thin sections of blond highlights was all she needed to even out her hair color and add some depth.
3 Make-up artist Rabbit started with RMK liquid foundation and concealer and Mac loose powder to set the base. Makeup Forever shadow powder in caramel gave definition to Michelle’s cheekbones. Benetint by Benefit added a natural cherry stain to her cheeks. Black Mac eyeliner was applied in a sassy cat-eye style, followed by Mac eye shadow in shades of chocolate and Estee Lauder mascara. For the perfect pout, Rabbit applied a Lancome lipstick in Juicy Rouge with a touch of lip gloss for extra shine.
