*On Saturday, April 23, come out and enjoy the Care for Children Charity Spring Fair from 11am-4pm. Across from Beijing Riviera, this annual outdoor family event features a bouncy castle, face painting, BBQ, games/entertainment and more! Don’t miss the new “Beijing’s Got Talent” contest, too! Groups or individuals under 18 will be divided into three age groups, all competing for the top prize of RMB 3,000 (runner up prize is RMB 1,000)! *Also on April 23 from 9:30am-1pm – the annual ISB Car Boot Sale, benefitting the High School Nightingale Charity Club. The event is held at ISB’s main parking lot; sellers should arrive by 8am to set up.
*Yet another event on April 23 at Euro Plaza, there will be several Easter features going on in and around participating stores. Stop by the lobby reception for specific information, as events run from 10am-noon and then again from 2:30-5pm. Throughout the month there have been in-store promotions leading up to this event, so be sure to get the list when you come in.
*May’s birthstone is the beautiful emerald, so now is the perfect time to come see spectacular stones from Paloma Sanches at Clicia’s Designs and Shayne’s Treasures. Appointments are recommended for Thursday, April 21 or Friday, April 22 from 10am-5pm. Check out the special monthly features in their store while you’re there.

*On Friday, April 22 from 9am-5pm at Yosemite C-2136, learn about Kinesiology and how it might help you take charge of your health and well-being. Anisa Abdoolcarim B.D.S., Kinesiologist will explore diet, exercise and emotional influences during this workshop. Materials are provided; cost of event is RMB 1,400. *You’re invited to Life at the Centre’s Treasure Seekers Easter Party! For kids 5-12 and their families, enjoy a party on Easter Sunday (April 24) from 3-5pm. *Prospective parents and children are invited to explore the Western Academy of Beijing’s ECC program (Nursery, age 3 to Pre-kindergarten, age 4) during an “Open Morning” on Wednesday, April 27, 8:30-11am.
