As the school year winds down and summer plans are being made, take time out to enjoy a day full of music performances and art exhibits on Sunday, June 12.
“Children Are the Future” Charity Concert will be held at the ISB Theater from 6:30-8pm, featuring music students from Claire’s Music Studio – piano, guitar, singing and more. An art exhibition, courtesy of MAC Time Community Art Center, will be in the theater hallway from 1-9pm that same day.
The music studio has always supported local charities, especially those having to do with children and education. This charity concert hopes to raise scholarship funds for students from First High School of Laiyuan and Yi Districts (Hebei Province).
Around Christmastime, a special 2-disc CD entitled “A Gift of Love” was produced featuring Claire’s Music Studio students. Proceeds for that compilation went to charity. That same CD will be available for purchase during the charity concert as well, and a combo ticket for both the concert and CD is set at a special price.
Tickets for “Children are The Future” are RMB 80 per person. The “A Gift of Love” CD is RMB 88. A combo ticket of one performance entry and one CD is RMB 120. All proceeds from the concert and exhibition will be donated to the students in Hebei Province.
