Michelle Dai from our sister site thebeijinger.com alerts us to the release of Kung Fu Panda II (in 3D) at cinemas in Beijing, and she’s telling us this one’s the real deal:
"Cinema-goers have endured too many 3-D farces over the past year, but Kung Fu Panda 2 finally brings the joy back to wearing those ridiculous plastic glasses. In this sequel, DreamWorks present some of the best action scenes we’ve seen in recent times – masterful one-on-one fights, massive group encounters and wicked chase scenes – totally surpassing all expectations of what an animated film can accomplish."
Read more of Michelle’s take on this flick over at thebeijinger.com, or if you’re already convinced, go see it at one of Beijing’s top-tier cinemas such as Saga* at Solana Mall, Megabox* at Sanlitun Village, UME in Shuangjing or Wanda Cinemas at Wanda Plaza — all of them are showing it in its original English (with Chinese subtitles).
* BTW for advanced planners: Saga and Megabox both have websites that have partial English interfaces and list foreign movies in English.
