Two weekends from now the exhibition center at the Olympic Park will come alive for a three-part expo that’s not to be missed by families and educators across Beijing.
Now a trade fair may seem to some of you like a great way to bore yourself to death, but this one is different. The three expos under one roof — one focusing on childhood education, one focusing on women, and one focusing on kid’s toys — should be an amazing opportunity to find out more about what’s on offer educationally and recreationally for families in Beijing.
The International Child Education Expo serves as the backbone of the trio — which in their own words, aims to be "China’s first and leading trade and consumer event for child education, bringing together early learning and nursery schools plus all related child educational projects, products & services." Last year they had over 260 exhibitors on site.
The Kids Fun Expo is where its at for the little ones, with dozens of local and international toy brands on display — the usual suspects such as Lego and Barbie will be there, with a plethora of themed activities, competitions and hands-on toy displays to keep the rugrats entertained (and begging you to take some of the toys home).
The China Children and Women Industry Expo focuses more on the moms, with everything from formula and food manufacturers to baby products suppliers to kids fashion and furniture.
The three-day event runs Friday, July 29 through Monday, August 1 at the China National Convention Centre (right next to the Bird’s Nest) on the Olympic Green.
