Jenny Wang sure knows how to host a party! And during the 12th anniversary at Pinnacle Plaza, she topped them all with 12 solid hours of food, entertainment and celebration.
Vendors from local restaurants offered samples of their food, and Jenny provided meat skewers, snacks and more for the hundreds of guests who came by throughout the day. Little Flower charity displayed artwork for a silent auction, giving visitors the opportunity to see how they can help children in the community. The food area was surrounded by wine representatives, and free flowing bottles allowed people to sample new varieties or enjoy their favorites. Entertainment included dancers, musicians, children – I even saw a Michael Jackson impersonator on stage at one point. Fireworks concluded the extensive festivities.
One added feature to this year’s anniversary was the opening of Jenny Wang Wine Cellar. The building space next to the grocery has been under construction for some time, and when it was painted green we all knew that some sort of expansion could be expected. As of last week, I would not have guessed that anything could be complete in time for the anniversary party, but we are in China…things happen when you least expect it. While there may be some tweaking as the days go on, it was quite impressive to see the large new area dedicated to wines from around the world, with comfortable tasting sections in a casual-elegant atmosphere. It’s worth checking out.
For the long holiday weekend, it was a great time to visit with friends, congratulate Jenny on her success, and enjoy a great party.
Happy Anniversary, Jenny!
