Hey, Shunyi-dwellers, it’s that time of year to get out on the ice for some fun and exercise, right in your own backyard! With Ice Zone sadly and officially closed, now you should brave the cold temps outdoors at Lake View Place by Dragon Bay Villas (officially called Longwan 7th Street Ice Skating) for some good old fashioned lake ice skating with family and friends.
Don’t have your own skates? That’s ok; you can rent them on site. Or if you’d rather “ride” on the ice, there are ice cars and ice bicycles for rent as well. Better news: the lake skating is open during the Chinese New Year holiday, every day from 9am-6pm.
Some notes for families with little ones: children under age 7 need an adult with them on the ice at all times. Children from 7-16 need an adult on-site (but they don’t have to be on the ice).
Below are the ticket and rental prices. Please note that receipts are needed to reclaim any deposit money.
Tickets: Monday-Friday, RMB 10; Weekends and Holidays, RMB 20
Rentals: Skates, RMB 30 (deposit RMB 100)
Ice car, RMB 30 (deposit RMB 20)
Ice bicycle, RMB 50 (deposit RMB 50)
