This Thursday, there will be a Valentine’s Day Bazaar in Shunyi to raise funds for charity. The event will take place at Pinotage and feature vendors selling Valentine’s Day products like candles, cards, and jewelry. The bazaar will also serve as a drop-off point for Roundabout donations. (No large items, please!)
Roundabout will have a table at the event selling jewelry and other small products, including exclusive, handmade wine ring charms. The creations are composed of Chinese charms (chopsticks, small bird cages, emperor’s chairs, etc.) and sparkling Swarovski beds on a silver ring. They come in sets of six and are presented in a custom-made box. They will also have tins containing either a candle or cookies, with matching Valentine cards.
All proceeds from Roundabout’s sales will benefit a little boy named Bo Yu. He was born with a complex heart defect, has had two major surgeries so far, and is back in hospital with post-op complications. His current stay is estimated to cost more than RMB 20,000.
The bazaar will also feature Vera Bradley originals, gourmet dips, soy candles, Bon Moment chocolate, cheeky boxer shorts, dessert diamonds, pillow talk cushions, Valentine cookies, champagne, and cards.
