Cuisine: American
English menu? Yes
Kids’ menu? Yes
General kid friendliness of menu: The main menu has the standard burgers, chicken
tenders, and potato skins you’d expect from Hard Rock, but the portions might be too hefty for kids. They could split, or order from the fairly extensive kids’ menu.
Staff: The staff is nice and speaks decent English.
Bathroom: Clean bathroom with sit-down toilets.
Best items for kids: Barbecue drum sticks with French fries, chicken tenders with fries and honey mustard sauce, or cheesy macaroni served with garlic toast.
Kids’ play area: No play area, but the restaurant is spacious, and constantly looping music videos, occasional live music, and a casual atmosphere should keep kids entertained.
Seating: Chairs and tables, and some semi-circle booths. Highchairs are available.
Price: RMB 500
Accepts credit cards? Yes
Must-order item: The legendary 10oz burger with seasoned bacon, cheddar, and
fried onion ring. For something a bit lighter on the arteries, try the Anti-Cobb Salad, with dried cranberries, Granny Smith apple pieces, and diced grilled chicken.
In a nutshell: American comfort food served up in extra-large portions with extra-large prices to match. The atmosphere is cheesy, but the service is good and the food is quality and satisfying, if you’re craving an unpretentious taste of the US of A.
