Saturday, July 28, Yuanfen Flow in 798 Art District is hosting the charity auction Giving Wings to Children’s Arts. Starting at 2.30pm, the auction will benefit Golden Wings, a not-for-profit organization that provides art therapy support to children with autism, cerebral palsy, and other special needs. The works of art up for auction are a selection of pieces from a diverse group of young Chinese artists.
Founded in 2010, Golden Wings currently works with more than 70 special needs children providing diverse forms of art therapy such as drawing, dancing, and music. Golden Wings charges families little to nothing for their programs, and sells artwork created by the students, giving 20% of the profit back to the families and using the rest to sustain the program.
Yuanfen Flow is a consulting company that brings together art and technology, and aims to provide an inspiring environment for all.
