Sabine Maiberger, former kindergarten principal of the German Embassy School, is the new principal at Muffy’s Education. Maiberger is from Germany and has a degree in early childhood education. Before coming to Beijing, she worked as a teacher and school principal at the German School Helsinki in Finland. Maiberger is already hard at work adding aspects of art, music, cooking, and sports to the Muffy’s English immersion curriculum.
Maiberger brings a strong vision for Muffy’s that has been shaped by her extensive early education experience. She favors education that focuses on developing the whole child, not just a certain set of measurable skills. Committed to nurturing multiple intelligences, Maiberger is putting more focus interactive music classes, guided play, and linguistic interaction between teacher and student. International, experienced teachers work closely with the students, guiding play to encourage physical development, language skills, and reading skills
Muffy’s provides an English immersion program for children 2 to 6 years old. The school uses well-known curriculums from American education institutes, including the University of Chicago.. The newest Muffy’s campus in Wangjing is the fourth location in Beijing.
