Wangjing families, here’s one for you: Traders Upper East Hotel has a new kids’ club for kids aged 2-11 that operates every Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am-2pm. Based in the hotel’s Wu Li Xiang Chinese Restaurant, the Upper East Kids’ Club features activities like Story Party (storytelling), Little Picasso (visual arts), Cooking Luncheon (cooking), Mini Olympics (sports), and more.
Lucky draws and gifts are also on the menu, with facilitators on hand to look after the kids while Mom and Dad kick back with Wu Li Xiang’s fine Chinese dining. There are a couple of set menus available, including the seven-course Monk Jumps over the Wall set menu (RMB 120 per person, minimum of three adult diners) and ten-course family set menu (RMB 198 per person, same number of minimum diners). Kids under 6 eat for free.
Families who eat at Wu Li Xiang can present their bill at the fitness center to use the gym and indoor swimming pool (extra costs apply). Kids under 11 get in free with a paid adult. In addition, diners can buy a Family Membership Card for the fitness center at a 10 percent discount.
