Students may not relish the thought of going back to school, but Dulwich College Beijing helped brighten the first week back with its Welcome Barbecue on Friday, August 24. Parents, teachers, and students gathered outside the sports dome at the Legend Garden campus for delicious burgers, kebabs, salads, and more.
The barbecue was the first event of the school year, which began with the students’ first day back on Wednesday, August 22. Already it is shaping up to be a big year; enrollment has risen to 1,400 students, and construction on a new building is already underway. The building, which will be 9,000 sqm, will have a 550-seat theater, a garden on its roof, and a three-storey library.
