Thousands of students and parents converged upon China World Exhibition Center this past Saturday and Sunday, October 20 and 21, to attend the 2012 China Education Expo, a sprawling showcase of over 500 schools in more than 30 countries. Canada, the US, Australia, Russia, and countries from the EU and South America all had schools representing their countries.
The expo was mainly geared towards Chinese students looking to attend university abroad, however there was more than enough information for international students or those interested in graduate school. In addition to universities large and small, there were some boarding schools and high schools, home stay companies, film schools, vocational schools, and language prep schools. Beijing was the first stop for the expo, which will also go to Xi’an, Chengdu, Shanghai, Wuhan, Changsha, and Guangzhou.
If you missed it or can’t wait to go again, mark your calendars for the 2013 dates listed in the program: November 2 and 3 in Beijing at the China National Convention Center, and November 9 and 10 in Shanghai.
