Happy Halloween! While some housing compounds celebrated the holiday over the weekend, there are plenty that will still welcome trick-or-treaters tonight! Yosemite and Capital Paradise are two that I heard of just recently – be sure to contact the villa clubhouse for details if you aren’t invited by a resident already. Be careful, and have a safe Halloween night!

What do these places have in common: Kookidz (toy store in Euro Plaza); Kids+ (in Pinnacle Avenue by A-Z Kids); Radiance (next to Mrs. Shanen’s); and the small independently owned shoe store (in Pinnacle Plaza)? They are all gone now — shops that have closed due to lack of business, or — in the case of Radiance — areas being torn down for future housing developments. The Pinnacle Plaza area seems prime for new stores to find a home, and Euro Plaza is always in need of some positive additions. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that some of the new tenants to come are what we’re all hoping for!
