Early Childhood Education (ECE) students at Yew Chung International School of Beijing (YCIS) took to their trikes for a good cause on Wednesday, October 17. For the Trike-a-Thon, students donned their helmets, put their pedals to the metal, and worked up a sweat to raise a total of RMB 8,949 for the Seeds of Hope charity.
Sponsorships for the Trike-a-Thon helped the students earn such a large contribution. The money will go toward the construction of a Seeds of Hope school in Wanan, Hebei. Seeds of Hope raised the funds to build its first school in Qufu, Shandong Province, and the school now has 500 students and a substantial library.
