On Friday, November 2, middle and high school students from the Canadian International School of Beijing (CISB) fired up the barbecues to grill up some hot dogs for charity. The students, who are part of the Global Issues Network (GIN), and raised RMB 3,700 for the Love and Hope Center, an organization that supports education for migrant children and rural women.
GIN is a community service group geared toward aiding global and local charities. Past charities GIN has supported include Whizz Kids, Wokai, animal shelters, and migrant children schools. GIN plans to reach out to more organization this year.
