If you’ve noticed a proliferation of men with facial hair this month, it’s not because of the cold weather but because of Movember, a month that encourages males to get creative with their facial hair to raise money and awareness for men’s health issues. Teachers and IB students and Dulwich College Beijing have embraced Movember with every hair follicle and made a school-wide fundraising project of it. Check out some of Dulwich’s mo’s after the link!
Collection boxes are placed around Dulwich to raise money for each teacher participating in Movember. Donations are tallied throughout the month, and at the end of the month, everyone is allowed to shave their mo’s except for the teacher who has the most amount of money in his donation box. For each day that the school raises RMB 100, the most follicular teacher will keep his mo a day longer.
