Following nine weeks of choreographing and practicing dance moves, creating outfits, and selecting music, students at the British School of Beijing (BSB) are proud to debut the fruits of their labors. When we last reported on this project in November, all BSB students had gathered on the football field to dance in unison for the Global Classroom Dance Unites project, and the final video has just been posted online.
The video features BSB students dancing in many of Beijing’s famous landmarks, and was shot over a series of days, which culminated in the school-wide dance on the field. The Dance Unites program, which is in association with Pineapple Dance Studios in London, is part of Nord Anglia Education’s Global Classroom initiative, which creates a global, collaborative learning environment for all of Nord Anglia Education’s 10,000 students. All Nord Anglia Education schools participated in Dance Unites, and videos from their other schools can be viewed on Nord Anglia Education’s YouTube channel.
