Are there talents you wish you’d picked up in school, like playing the violin or learning a language? Now’s your chance! On Saturday, March 16, Yew Chung International School of Beijing (YCIS) is holding its Open Day, which means not only can Beijing families see what it’s like to be at YCIS Beijing, the get to participate in interactive workshops. The day is open to the entire Beijing community.
Interactive workshops run from 9am to 11.45, and include an art workshop with Sara Barati, the YCIS Beijing artist-in-residence; a beginner violin class; Chinese class; English class; sports; and science experiments. Activities are for parents and children alike.
During the day, families will also get a chance to learn more about Early Childhood Education, Primary and Secondary curricula, and attend a university guidance workshop. Lunch will be served at the cafeteria, where YCIS Beijing teachers, students, and parents will be on hand to chat about life at YCIS Beijing.
