Wellington College International Tianjin will open boarding facilities for students starting in August, 2013. Boys and girls ages 11 to 18 will be able to board full time or Monday to Friday. Wellington’s boarding program will offer premium facilities and care, as well as the school’s wide range of extracurricular activities and academics.
Wellington College Tianjin’s headmaster David Cook says,“Boarding teaches lessons for life – independence, tolerance, and working as a team – and we know our boarders will leave Wellington not only with outstanding academic results, but with an equally valuable self-confidence and a global perspective which will serve them well later in life.”
In August, Wellington College Tianjin will also introduce the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, subject to authorization. Wellington also follows the UK National Curriculum.
